Policies

Tuition
Tuition is due in advance of the first lesson of the month. Monthly tuition is computed on the entire year and is the same each month even if shortened by the holidays. There are no refunds on tuition. If payment for the year is paid in advance, there is no refund if the student discountinues dance.
Tuition not received by the 7th of the month will have a $10 late fee added per child. If tuition is not received by the 15th of the month, a $20 late fee will be added per child. This is strictly enforced.
Registration by August 11, 2010 will be $12.00 per child. After August 11, registration will be $20 per child. (This is a non-refundable fee.)
Classes missed should be made up in another class.
There will be a $35.00 charge for all returned checks.
Payments can be made by check, cash, or credit/debit card.
Withdrawal from Dance
In order to avoid paying of monthly tuition, withdrawal must be made prior to the first lesson of the month. Written request for refund of tuition or any other fees upon withdrawal from dance school must be made within one week of withdrawal for lessons not received.

Inclement Weather
We will not have dance class if Harrison Schools are cancelled due to bad weather. Classes missed will be made up.
Dress Code
Preschool:
Black leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes, black patent tap shoes, and skirts are allowed.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade:
Black leotard, pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes, black patent tap shoes, and skirts are allowed.
For Pre-Jazz: Leotard, jazz pants or jazz shorts, black jazz shoes.
Hip Hop: Shorts or pants, t-shirt, black tennis shoes

2nd Grade thru Advanced:
For Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black laced tap shoes (not black patent taps), and skirts are allowed.
For Jazz: Leotard or jazz top, jazz pants or jazz shorts, black jazz shoes.
For Pointe Students: Pink pointe shoes.
Hip Hop: Shorts or pants, t-shirt, black tennis shoes

All Students:
Hair must be pulled back away from the face in a ponytail or bun.
NO GUM CHEWING ALLOWED.
NO T-SHIRTS ALLOWED IN CLASS.
For Boys:
Ballet & Tap: White t-shirt, black pants or shorts, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
Jazz: White t-shirt, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes.
Hip Hop: Shorts or pants, t-shirt

 

 

Recitals
Each student will purchase his or her own costume for the recital. A non-refundable down payment of $55 per costume is billed in November and is due by December 2, 2010. The remaining balance will be due in March to ensure that your May recital costume arrives on time. If taking more than one class, a down payment will be due for each costume ordered.
Costume fees are non-refundable after December 9, 2010.
Costume fees not collected by December 2, 2010 will be $80.00 per costume.
Recital fee of $35 per child will be due in March 2011. This fee covers the expense of the recital.
Recital fees not received by March 31, 2011 will be $45 per child.
